1. The Shettles Method To Have A Baby Boy

Dr. Landrum B. Shettles, in his book How to Choose the Sex of Your Baby, explains how the proper timing of sexual intercourse can determine whether you’ll conceive a boy or a girl. Each sperm cell carries either the X or Y chromosome, which determines the sex of a baby. According to Dr. Shettles, since the Y chromosome cells – the boy-bearing cells – arefaster but aren’t as hardy as the girl-bearing X chromosome cells, the best time to conceive a boy is soon after the egg is released for fertilization. 2. The Whelan Method To Have A Baby Boy

Dr. Elizabeth Whelan also published a book titled Boy Or Girl? to refute Dr. Shettles’ claim regarding the best time to conceive a boy or a girl. The Whelan method is largely based on research done by Dr. Rodrigo Guerrero, a Colombian physician, who studied the conception timing of 1,300. Guerrero used the basal body temperature test to chart the women’s ovulation schedules and found out that if there was conception that took place right after ovulation, only 43.5 percent or less than half of the women were able to conceive a boy. Dr. Whelan thus concluded that the best time to conceive a boy is four to six days before ovulation and the best time to conceive a girl is immediately before or after the egg cell is released. 3. Chinese Birth Chart To Have A Baby Boy

Experts in traditional Chinese medicine believe that 700 years ago, a scroll that contained the secret of choosing the sex of your baby was discovered buried in a royal tomb in the Chinese capital of Beijing. This birth chart works by calculating the lunar birth month of the would-be mother, which will predict the best months to have sexual intercourse so that she can conceive a boy or a girl. TCM experts believe that if the chart is used properly, the predicted results become 90 percent accurate.

Of course, skeptics will also take the other side and say that the accuracy is only 50 percent, which is similar to the natural 50-50 chances of having a baby boy or a baby girl.
